- Complete the four-hour self-study online course and successfully complete the exam.
- Schedule your two-hour live Zoom lab with Leslie. The Participant will be guided through activities during the meeting by performing procedures using simulation methods. A certificate is awarded after successful completion of BOTH the self-study and Zoom lab portions.
As an AGD PACE approved provider, SB 1311 permits me to deliver a qualifying online pathway with at least four hours of instruction and two hours of online activities via Zoom.
Course limitation: This course provides basic infection control training for Unlicensed Dental Assistants before potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and is required to work in a clinical setting. It does NOT satisfy the Board Approved 8-hour Infection Control course prerequisite for candidates for the RDA licensure exam, for enrollment in the Orthodontic and Dental Sedation Permit, Coronal Polishing, or Pit & Fissure courses. Those applicants must take a Board-Approved 8-Hour Infection Control Course with live, hands-on clinical training.
